A cozy little winter world.

We get really into Christmas around here. We got a huge tree this year and it's still packed! I love it all though, it all has memories, a lot of it was my Grandparents and my mum has memories of putting them up when she was little too, so it absolutely HAS to be putt out every year or it's just not Christmas.
Obviously I haven't been doing much drawing lately, there's just to much going on! I'm going to try to do some this weekend, in the mean time I've been baking, decorating, visiting, and I made several crochet snow flakes (more about that soon!)
Oh, also I was asked to contribute to this year to the Modish Gift Guide, along with several other artists. Some day-dream 'window shopping is always fun! We were supposed to pick three things we would give as gifts and one we'd give ourselves. I think probably all my pics are actually things I want, but I think the other people I was supposed to be shopping for would like them too!

I recognize those elves! I have a part of the same set, from my family. The one on the left in the second photo, I have! Love seeing them. I also have the glass birds with the feathery tails, except that many of them lost their original tails, and my mother replaced them with real feathers.
Aww! Thanks Julianna...I was wondering why all my owl masks flew out of the shop yesterday :)
I would love an original Wool and Water piece too! Great choices.
Oh, the wolf print is beyond lovely! Can't wait to frame it.
xo.
that little cute mouse just winked at me... ;)
Your vintage ornaments and little house are just wonderful. I kind of lost track of my Granny's things (read: mom's divorce) and it makes me smile to see yours, all preserved and kept and cherished. Some things are just not forever. I know that's why I now scour estate sales and am attracted to all the vintage Christmas stuff. Fun post! Love your blog.
