Herding cats

I didn't take many pictures at the Opening of Journey Though Bookland on Thursday but here are a few. The work all looked great and usual it got pretty packed as the evening went on. I actually ran into an old friend from college who lives in the neighborhood and walked in randomly!

I loved this little grouping of figures by Seth Neefus

Pre-opening pie at Random Order and Post-opening nightcap at the Boiler Room in Kennedy School, I love that place, it's to strange.

Today I'm feeling distinctly anti-work so I'm going to read and crochet all day. I got a pretty cowl pattern from this shop on Etsy, and I got some perfect blue yarn so I'm going to happily work on and try it finish it up today.

this looks like a dream, julianna, how your work brings the space to life so beautifully.

and i am rather taken by your crochet. now, that would certainly feel like work to me! thank god other folks can create such wonders, for i would be severely at a loss;)

would love to be able to visit, but i will support from afar!

I got your brooches today... speedy! I'm going to wear one into work on monday; I'll let you know the perceived social acceptance of a man wearing brooches. The birthday cards were also lovely and I can't wait to send them out.
