I'm hoping to have them in the shop tomorrow but I still have all the pictures to take and I'm not totally sure what the best way to do that is yet. I'm frustrated because I can't seem to get the backgrounds right, I'm just not sure what works best and what would be the most appealing. Then I'm having problems with lighting. Today was very frustrating all around, there was so much I wanted to get done but then the day just flew by!

Oh my, that's lovely. I think that the printed ephemera background distracts a bit when you have this much detail in the brooch. The second picture suits it much better.
If I have one suggestion to offer based on the brooches I've been wearing, it's that the clasp adds a bit of bulk to the ribbon that makes it awkward to attach to my coats and blazers. That is, the brooch itself swings freely due instead of lying flush with the clasp. Maybe that wouldn't be a problem if I had massive pectoral muscles for it to rest on, but we'll never know.

Oh, yes!! Taking pictures of small things like brooches always proves to be frustrating for me,too! But I think your photos are always really beautiful!! :)
